The Atlas Powered Ascender (APA-5) is able to operate a wide variety of rope diameters from 8-11 mm. When the Multi-Diameter Rope Interaction (MRI) option is added, the range is increased to 6.5-11 mm. The patented lightweight and compact device is a modular upgrade attachment that can be rapidly engaged with a bight of rope without requiring tools for operation. The MRI comes configured standard on APA-5-S model.
